Challenge:
The challenge was to build a program that would attract a critical mass to request Botox from their dermatologist and at the same time attract these Dermatologists to add BotoxCosmetic injections to their product offering . The cornerstone of the program was a BotoxCosmetic® application-based site that allowed patients to locate a doctor in their area. We drove the consumers to the site through in-office patient materials, TV and Print ads.
Result:
As this was a Product launch, BotoxCosmetic increased parent company, Allergan's profits by 60% in first quarter sales in 2003.
